Our History


We are caring adults who have witnessed first hand, the challenges and stresses faced by pre-teens and teens today. We believe that evidence-based techniques that teach resilience and coping skills, long held in the confines of a clinical setting, can and should be disseminated universally to all youth. There are no downside to these techniques, and they can be effectively used in a self-paced online learning environment, supported by mentors in a non-clinical setting. We believe that all youth should have access to free and effective coping and resilience skills needed in an ever demanding world they face.



It's OK Now, is a nonprofit online wellness platform for Teens and Pre-teens, that focuses on early intervention by helping build resilience and coping skills based on evidence-based techniques, for those who feel stressed, anxious and overwhelmed. It encourages positive change through the use of self-improvement tools under the guidance of one-on-one mentors and through effective use of curated content on the web.





Our Approach


The purpose of the platform is to help 'teach' resilience and coping skills based on existing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for handling stress, anxiety and "mild" depression, online in a non-clinical setting, for youth who have not been diagnosed with any condition, or do not have access to therapists. This online learning platform will be guided by volunteer mentors or coaches (who are not therapists) trained in the techniques and methodologies. We are collaborating with several professionals, experts in the field of psychology and extending proven Apps and online technology solutions developed to deal with stress, anxiety and mild depression.
